Renovation Project of a Wastewater Treatment Plant in Nenjiang, Heilongjiang Province
The first phase of the project is designed to treat 15,000 tons per day; prior to the upgrade, the actual average daily treatment volume was less than 7,000 tons, resulting in low equipment utilization and poor operational compatibility. Moreover, the region experiences severe winter cold, with influent temperatures as low as 5–8°C. Such low-temperature conditions readily lead to reduced energy efficiency and effluent quality exceeding regulatory limits, posing a typical challenge in wastewater treatment in northern China.
After being retrofitted with Zhongkesanshui’s LSP technology, the project has fully met its designed treatment capacity. Even under sustained low-temperature conditions in winter, the effluent quality consistently complies with Class I-A discharge standards, effectively addressing the challenge of treating wastewater in northern regions during cold weather. Thanks to its outstanding operational performance, the project has earned high recognition from the local government.
