Zhongkesanshui was invited to attend the 2023 Ecological Environment Science and Technology Innovation Technical Exchange Conference.
The “2023 Ecological Environment Science and Technology Innovation Conference” was grandly held in the beautiful Spring City of Kunming from December 15 to 16, 2023. This conference served as a parallel forum following the “2023 International Ecological Economy Annual Conference and Sustainable Development Forum,” which was previously convened in Beijing and Hong Kong. Beijing Zhongkesanshui Environment Technology Co., Ltd. was honored to be invited by the organizers to attend the event and deliver a keynote speech.

The forum, themed “Empowering Green and Low-Carbon Development to Continuously Improve Environmental Quality,” brought together leading experts in the environmental field to advance ecological civilization, promote green and low-carbon innovation, and sustainably enhance environmental quality. It also sought to further drive the development of cutting-edge environmental technologies and foster international cooperation and exchange, with the aim of building a Beautiful China and a green, low-carbon world. At the “Green and Low-Carbon Water Treatment and Aquatic Ecological Restoration Technologies” forum, our company delivered an outstanding presentation on the application of LSP technology in source‑level sludge reduction, earning unanimous praise from the attending experts.
Introduction to the Beijing International Ecological Economy Association
The Beijing International Ecological Economy Association is a first‑level social organization registered with the Beijing Civil Affairs Bureau. It is an independent, professional, and non‑profit civil society organization dedicated to advancing sustainable economic and environmental development. Its supervising authority is the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Commerce. Established in 2007, the association was formerly known as the International Energy Conservation and Environmental Protection Association. Following institutional reforms, it was re‑registered in Beijing in October 2015 and renamed the Beijing International Ecological Economy Association. The Association steadfastly upholds its mission of “building an international bridge for the green ecological economy,” actively translating this vision into concrete actions. It works to strengthen the development of the ecological industries, promote the application and demonstration of eco‑friendly and dual‑carbon technologies, facilitate sustainable market exchanges and cooperation among businesses, and provide policy analysis and recommendations to the government. Additionally, it establishes international, professional platforms for dialogue and development across all sectors of society. Through policy analysis and advocacy, international technology transfer and collaboration, the formulation of industry standards, technology assessment, green certification, ESG initiatives, and more, the Association drives ecological economic growth, serving as a highly contributing and influential non‑governmental organization.

At the 2026 (18th) Shanghai Water Industry Hotspot Forum, Yang Chao, General Manager of Beijing Zhongkesanshui Environment Technology Co., Ltd., presented a technical roadmap for addressing the issue at its “source” — the LSP (Low Sludge Production Biological Staircase Biofilm Process). According to him, this technology can reduce excess sludge by 70% to 95%.

Recently, the 100,000-ton-per-day wastewater treatment plant upgrade and renovation project in Bengbu City has successfully passed its completion acceptance. Centered on Zhongkesanshui’s proprietary low-sludge in-situ reduction technology (referred to as the LSP process) and supported by specialized government–enterprise collaborative services, this project has become the first large-scale LSP‑based facility with a capacity of 100,000 tons per day. It has achieved multiple breakthroughs in upgrading plant performance, enhancing efficiency, saving energy, reducing carbon emissions, and leveraging policy support, setting a benchmark for green transformation of urban wastewater treatment.

On August 20, the 2026 (18th) Shanghai Water Industry Hotspot Forum concluded successfully in Shanghai. With the theme “Comprehensive Regional Coordination and Smart Low-Carbon Development: Exploring Pathways for Enhancing Quality and Efficiency in the Water Sector during the 15th Five-Year Plan,” the forum focused on the synergistic advancement of pollution reduction and carbon mitigation in the water industry. It brought together industry experts, water‑service platforms, engineering firms, and research institutions to conduct in-depth discussions on key topics such as improving the quality and efficiency of wastewater treatment and promoting low‑carbon sludge management.
