New Opportunities in the Dual-Carbon Track | Zhongkesanshui was invited to attend Anhui Province’s “Dual Attraction and Dual Introduction” Promotion Conference for the New Energy and Green Low-Carbon Industries.
Zhongkesanshui was invited to attend the conference, where General Manager Yang Chao delivered a keynote speech titled “LSP (Sludge Source Reduction) Technology Empowering Local Emission Reduction and Efficiency Enhancement, Jointly Building New Opportunities for Industrial Cooperation,” systematically presenting to the attendees the policy context, core advantages, successful case studies, and industrial implementation plans of the LSP sludge source reduction technology.
On the afternoon of October 19, the Anhui Province New Energy and Green Low-Carbon Industry “Dual Attraction and Dual Introduction” Promotion Conference was solemnly held in Shanghai. With the theme “Pooling Strength on the Dual Carbon Track, Anhui and Shanghai Jointly Ushering in New Opportunities,” the event was co-hosted by the Anhui Province New Energy and Green Low-Carbon Industry Promotion Task Force, the Anhui Provincial Department of Ecology and Environment, and the Anhui Provincial People’s Government Office in Shanghai. Yao Xiaoqun, a member of the Party Leadership Group and Deputy Director of the Anhui Provincial Department of Ecology and Environment, as well as Director of the Office of the Anhui Province New Energy and Green Low-Carbon Industry Promotion Task Force, and Li Qiuhuai, a member of the Party Leadership Group and Deputy Director of the Anhui Provincial People’s Government Office in Shanghai, attended the conference and delivered remarks. Following their addresses, industry experts, leading enterprises, and peers from the sector engaged in discussions on new opportunities for developing the green and low-carbon industries.
Zhongkesanshui was invited to attend the conference, where General Manager Yang Chao delivered a keynote speech titled “LSP (Sludge Source Reduction) Technology Empowers Local Emission Reduction and Efficiency Enhancement, Jointly Building New Opportunities for Industrial Cooperation,” systematically presenting to the attendees the policy context, core advantages, successful cases, and industrial implementation plans of the LSP sludge source reduction technology.
In his report, General Manager Yang pointed out that, as the national “dual carbon” strategy continues to advance, indicators such as total carbon emissions and carbon intensity have become key components of local ecological and environmental protection assessments. Traditional wastewater treatment plants continue to consume substantial amounts of electricity, while landfilling and incineration of sludge impose significant carbon‑emission pressures, underscoring the urgent need for new green, low‑carbon technologies that reduce energy consumption and minimize sludge production. With increasingly stringent carbon‑emission controls and the normalization of environmental inspections, sludge management is shifting from “end‑of‑pipe disposal” to “source‑level control,” becoming an integral part of local green and low‑carbon development and directly impacting environmental quality and future development prospects.
Addressing the aforementioned industry pain points, General Manager Yang introduced Zhongkesanshui’s independently developed LSP (Sludge Source Reduction) technology. By introducing functional microorganisms and nano‑fiber carriers in the front end of wastewater treatment to work synergistically, this technology suppresses sludge proliferation at the source. It can be seamlessly integrated into existing wastewater treatment processes without requiring large‑scale civil engineering modifications. Operational data show that, while improving effluent water quality, the technology achieves sludge reduction of 70%–95% and energy savings of 20%–30%, delivering triple benefits of sludge reduction, carbon mitigation, and energy efficiency, thereby significantly lowering carbon emissions in the sludge disposal stage.
At the event, General Manager Yang presented numerous LSP‑technology project case studies, spanning diverse application scenarios such as upgrading and retrofitting municipal wastewater treatment plants, treating industrial park effluents, and co‑processing municipal sludge. These projects have demonstrated stable operation and remarkable results, earning high praise from clients.
In the report, General Manager Yang also outlined various project cooperation models, including technology licensing, joint ventures, and EPC+O, to accelerate the industrial-scale deployment of LSP technology. He stated that Zhongkesanshui is eager to take this promotional event as an opportunity to deepen exchanges and collaboration with all sectors, facilitate the implementation of advanced sludge-source reduction technologies in Anhui, and contribute to local efforts in emission reduction, efficiency enhancement, and green, low-carbon development.
In the future, Zhongkesanshui will continue to deepen its expertise in the environmental protection and water services sectors, steadily advance its core technologies, and work with local governments and industry partners to explore new pathways for green and low-carbon development.
